NCGOP Convention 2023

The Ashe County Republican Party went to the NCGOP Convention in Greensboro, NC which was held on June 8-11, 2023.  There were over 1,800 delegates present at the convention which was the largest in recent history.  There were many individuals running for various offices present at the convention.  Attendees of the convention heard from many speakers during the business session including U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx who opened the afternoon business session on Saturday, June 10th.  In addition, Lt. Governor Mark Robinson and NC Representative Tricia Cotham were speakers during the business session.  The Friday evening dinner hosted Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Saturday luncheon hosted former Vice President Mike Pence.  The Saturday Evening dinner contained speaker former President Donald J.
